So im taking some pictures, recording the demolition and this little kid come walking up to me. “What you doin?”

I find out that he never really had any direct experience with cameras before, so I let him use mine. “Whats this button, whats that?”

I show him the zoom and show him how to rotate it to change the view. “When its at the 17 its gets big and wide and when you turn it to 55 it gets in real close.”

“oh man, this is tight.” “Got it!” he says after almost every shot he gets of a passing car, the moving crane, or the construction worker.

He was definitely a character, as kids often are. I told him to save up some money and get a camera when he gets older. “OK” he responds.
