The big problem with Detroit is a lack of demand to revitalize these buildings. Economically speaking, its not profitable to rebuild if no ones going to come and buy it. The Fisher Plant is no exception and while the building has a legendary history of stamping out thousands of Cadillac and Buick bodies, its currently waiting for the right combinations of variables to bring it back to life.
